Honeymoons

Anguilla

Located in the Caribbean, Anguilla is an island that has a small-island feel but is actually a good size. You can arrive by plane or by sea to one of two customs offices located on the island. Renting a car is the best way to get around the island, and it takes about an hour to drive from one side of the island to the other. There are many deluxe accommodations in Anguilla that have won many awards and been recognized by the best of the travel publications, and the food is unparalleled to any other island in the Caribbean. With Blanchards, Dune, Cuisinart, Cap Juluca, Mangos, and Straw Hat, there are simply too many options to choose from within a week.

Greece

Greece is full of wonderful places such as Santorini, Mykonos, Delos, Thessalonoki, Corfu, Rhodes, Delphi, Corinth, Olympia, and Athens. Greece has the most beautifully crafted jewelry in the world, especially the reproductions of the Byzantine and ancient designs. The archaelogical sites are fascinating, with Mycenae boasting one of the oldest civilizations in the world. Crete, with its palace of Knossos, is another wonder. Fresh fish and salad are staples of the Greek diet, along with many sweets made with honey and nuts. Shopping is a must with many choices of ceramics, furs, jewelry, ikons, and handcrafts.

Caribbean

Honeymooners love the Caribbean! And we love to book them in all-inclusive resorts because they always come home happy. We know which ones are best for snorkeling and diving, which ones have the best food, and which ones have the best beaches. We can do a low-key relaxing place or one with lots of activities. And we know which resorts have the most luxurious accommodations. Our staff has inspected more than 75 different resorts and hotels and continue to do this frequently. And, we use tour companies that know their properties. There are several places you can go to explore ruins and to learn how to sail, windsurf, kayak, or water ski. You can take a helicopter ride over a rainforest or a volcano, bicycle down a mountain at sunrise, or climb a waterfall. Sunset cruises, too, are a favorite. We will match you to the property that best suits you.

French Polynesia

French Polynesia consists of the Society Islands of Bora Bora, Raiatea, Tahaa, & Motu Mahaina; and the Tahitian Islands of Moorea and Papeete. Visiting them is a little like having a sneak preview of Paradise. These islands are incredibly beautiful, and the snorkeling is the best if you want to see countless varieties of tropical fish. I counted over 30 species in my first five minutes in the water. You can wade into the warm water and be surrounded by fish a few feet away from the shore. We loved it!! Other new experiences included feeding the sharks, swimming with the stingrays, and hunting for the bottle-nosed dolphins with a naturalist who not only had named the pods or families, but could call each one by name as they twirled out of the water. A cruise there is delightful, giving you a chance to see many islands, snorkel in different places, and participate in many different activities. If you choose a land stay, the grass-roofed bungalows are charming, especially if you select one over the water with a removable glass coffee table and your very own pier. This was one of our most fun, romantic vacations!
