  •  Starts in Lisbon for a 2 night stay.
  • Transfer by motor coach to Porto and boards the QUEEN ISABEL riverboat to sail down the Douro River for 7 nights, stopping at several ports. The Douro Valley, a UNESCO designated location, is known for its picturesque landscape and outstanding wineries.
  • The cruise ends in Vega de Terron and the group is transferred to the Spanish town of Salamanca for a full day tour there.
  • Then it is on to Madrid for a 3-night stay with a side trip to Toledo!

This 13-day itinerary includes 11 days of excursions. Also included are all meals onboard and unlimited beverages, including fine wines, beer, spirits, specialty coffee and tea, soft drinks and water. Uniworld also has local entertainment and some lectures onboard. All transfers are included, if you arrive and depart on the days of the tour.   (Of course, we can arrange transfers if we go early or stay over!)  This promises to be an outstanding cruise/tour to an area a lot of our clients have not yet experienced.

RATES DEPEND ON CABIN CATEGORY:  Doubles range from $5799 to $7499.   Singles range from $8798 to $9898.  There is a $140 port charge. I have requested the lower priced cabins, but if you want one of these, please plan to pay your deposit soon as there are only a few available. Deposit is 10% of the cruise cost. Travel insurance with Uniworld is $499, but only covers the air if you book the air with Uniworld. It is similar to other insurance policies.
