Visiting St Barts is like traveling to Europe but without the long flight. Nestled in the Caribbean, St Barts is a short boat ride from St Martin and Anguilla and an easy flight from the east coast. As one of the most exclusive and high-end islands in the Caribbean, the price tag for luxury goes along with it. The currency is the Euro and there are many Virtuoso 5-star properties on this small island. Eden Rock, Hotel Guanahani, Hotel Le Toiney, and Hotel St Barth (Isle de France) are a few of the nicest properties on the island, and there are an abundance of condos and yachts to rent as well.

The French flair is very evident from the restaurants to the way of life to the dress. Motorcycles and 4-wheelers make it easy to get around the island, and taxis are readily available too. You can circle the whole island in about 45-minutes time. The small airport offers daily inexpensive flights to nearby islands, and the take off and landing in between the mountain and the ocean is a trip in itself.
The restaurants range from Le Select in the middle of town for burgers and beer to Nikki Beach for Tuna Nicoise and sushi. There are numerous choices for lunch and dinner, and you won't be disappointed. Another part of dining is the complimentary fashion shows which occur in many of the establishments during the peak dining hours. And, did I mention that the shopping is top notch - lots of high-end boutiques as well as some of your other favorites.
