Caribbean

Anguilla

Located in the Caribbean, Anguilla is an island that has a small-island feel but is actually a good size. You can arrive by plane or by sea to one of two customs offices located on the island. Renting a car is the best way to get around the island, and it takes about an hour to drive from one side of the island to the other. There are many deluxe accommodations in Anguilla that have won many awards and been recognized by the best of the travel publications, and the food is unparalleled to any other island in the Caribbean. With Blanchards, Dune, Cuisinart, Cap Juluca, Mangos, and Straw Hat, there are simply too many options to choose from within a week.

Harbour Island

If you flip through Elle, Vanity Fair, Robb Report, Vogue, or any other high-end magazine, you are bound to come across an article about Harbour Island. Harbour Island is one of the smallest, non-private islands in the Caribbean. They are famous for pink sand beaches and are the center of uncountable photo shoots. As a matter of fact, I don't think I've been to the island when they haven't been shooting for Glamour, Victoria's Secret, or a specific line of clothes. The water is crystal clear, the beaches wide and mass, and the weather is nice all year long. There are many islands you can boat to for a beach picnic or to relax in privacy, and fishing is great as well. Beaches are not crowded, and occasionally a horse or two will pass you by. And, for those wanting to marry on the island, there are many options for weddings as well as honeymoons.

St. Barts

Visiting St Barts is like traveling to Europe but without the long flight. Nestled in the Caribbean, St Barts is a short boat ride from St Martin and Anguilla and an easy flight from the east coast. As one of the most exclusive and high-end islands in the Caribbean, the price tag for luxury goes along with it. The currency is the Euro and there are many Virtuoso 5-star properties on this small island. Eden Rock, Hotel Guanahani, Hotel Le Toiney, and Hotel St Barth (Isle de France) are a few of the nicest properties on the island, and there are an abundance of condos and yachts to rent as well.
