Shanghai is a study of opposites. Here you can see the most modern and futuristic buildings, the top technology abounds, restaurants and nightspots are extremely popular,.yet there is one neighborhood that time has forgotten, that has remained unchanged for generations or even centuries. When you travel in China, you have constant reminders of the law that prevents Chinese couples from having more than one child. The upper middle class has become more prosperous, and many couples are lavishing attention and large portions of their income on their precious children. This is what we witnesses when we attended the arts school in Shanghai. The children begin classes when they are 3-4 years old, and go to class every day in the summer. Several of them performed solos for us, and we were able to hear some of the group classes, too. It was a wonderful experience! And we can arrange this for you, too!
