China Yangtze River and Dam

The Yangtze River offers a different perspective of China to visitors. We loved the small boat cruise in the Three Gorge area of the river, which gave us more of a bird's eye view of the gorge. But the new dam took top honors, as we were given a guided tour, from a miniature model, to a hillside overview of the entire project, and explanations of the top engineers throughout the world who had collaborated on the design and construction of this largest dam in the world. Fascinating, even to a non-engineer like me! And you can go to China and cruise on the Yangtze! Ask us how.
