Botswana holds many joys, and Chief's Camp is one of these. It is my vision of that fair country, as I remember sitting on the wide verandah and staring out into the beautiful grass and water that extends as far as the eye can see. It is a familiar sight to those of us who love the Carolina coast. But we do not have the romantic mokoros to glide about in. This is reminiscent of a time past. You can usually see the elephants, antelope, and other game in the distance. At Chief's Camp the views everywhere from the lodge and the rooms are alluring, and the game drives offer a wide variety of animals of all types. Most of the people who visited Chief's Camp gave it top marks for a safari in Botswana.
